magnatecsteve
Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows That is a good looking bow! Back in the day when I got into archery..High Country and Hoyt were top dogs, much like Hoyt and Matthews today. Don't see very many High Country shooters round here as much..don't know why, it seems like they're still making some great bows!

WVreddot870
Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows I don't even know any shop that carries HCA any more. They were top of the line at one time. The new bows look good.

Guest bigbuckmiddaugh
Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows yeah, hard to find dealer. They all dumped them. 1. they went to selling direct and cut the dealer out 2.they had bad customer service if they took care of them issues, they could win a lot of dealers back

magnatecsteve
Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows I remember back in the early 90's they were already super fast bows, but then again I think I remember they had alot of limb problems as well.Would like to see them make a comeback though! Leo
Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows The super fast speed 390fps is shooting their arrows. A 5.5 shaft, total arrow weight is 250grns. That's 100grns below IBO min of 350 for a 70lb bow. I guess they'll warrant it. Lots of companies won't warrant their bows if you shoot lighter than 5grns/lb. Might not be shocky but I bet it's loud
Gator
Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows Firts bow was a High Country, I will NEVER own another

Elwood
Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows High Country and Newberry bows have combined under High Country's name. The best of both worlds were combined and then they added a few things also. The new cable roller guard and Bianary cams. Carbon risers are also on the way. I am a Mathews fan but this bow really looks good. HCA may be back in the running.
OUTSIDER
Re: 2007 Iron Mace. High Country Bows Put a 5.5 gpi arrow in any upper end bow and see what its FPS is....you'll be amazed
