Guest buckmtn
I've been looking at buying one of the optronics nightblaster GL-500 scope lights. Anyone had any experince with them? Looking to spend around $100-150. Any other alternatives?
jcwa
Re: What scope light to buy? I have a nightblaster GL-500, it not a great light. It's ok if their is no moon out. It doesn't put out a very wide beam and is dim compared to a 12v light using the red lens. You may want to look at the Lightforce riflescope lights at www.tufflights.com from $100 to $108 for the light. If you want the GL-500 I'll sell you mine. I only used it twice. Guest buckmtn
Re: What scope light to buy? Those lights look nice, but once you add on a battery pack and any accesories the price goes up quickly. What do you want for your GL-500. Does it have the battery pack? jcwa
Re: What scope light to buy? I'm not at home. I'll have to check it. It comes with a battery, battery bag, charger and the light with an inline switch. I'll get back to you.
