ParrotHead2005
I have some trueglow sites on my turkey gun. I was looking at the gun last night and noticed the sites were not as bright as normal. The sites are 5 or so years old. Do they just run out of juice so to speak. It is the Magnum Gobble Dot. It is not the same as the new one they have out. It is all metal except for the fiber optic part. Can I just get the new fiber part?
PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
Re: Truglow Try your gun in sunlight and see if it is still bright. My fiber optics don't seem as bright under a light as they do in daylight. I do believe that you can buy the replacement fiber optic inserts. I have a set of fiber optics on my muzzleloader and got a replacement for them. They are much finer than those tru glo sights on my shotgun. You might look at the end of the fiber optic to see if it is dirty before changing it.
