RangerClay
I see on the news today that he is taking the first steps toward a presidental run. I cannot believe that Hillary will run against him. What do you think?
Guest Andrea
Re: Senator Obama I personally don't see either one of them getting elected. But if I HAD to say who I thought would get it.....Hillary would probably win over OSAMA....errrr, oops.....OBAMA.
wtnhunt
Re: Senator Obama Think that John Edwards will beat either of them if they should follow through to the end. Edwards seems teh most likeable face and figure for the democratic party and he might give them a better chance at getting in the White house. Saw some numbers the other day supposedly coming from Iowa and New Hampshire, and the numbers are also showing Edwards to be pretty heavily favored over either of the two. Got to wonder though who he will pick as a running mate should he get the nod. Would seriously doubt it would be Kerry who also has made it quite public that he will also be running again. Heaven help the Republicans if they ran somebody that was actually a conservative and was backed by God-fearing folks. If the Republicans don't come up with a right-wing, Regan-conservative candidate in '08, I won't vote for anybody. Rick Santorum...........wherrrre arrrrrrre youuuuu???? But the White House is still held by a moderate.

Note to self: Check one right wing religous whacko off of the list. My Bad, I thought it was the American Public using their votes who gave the majority over to the Democrats. The former Soviet Union was a "democracy". The USA is a "constitutional representative republic".

[/ QUOTE ] Honestly dont think anyone knows enough about him to really honestly elaborate on logical rationales why to vote for him. From what I have seen all he is about is hype. Have heard that he is for gun control, but have not seen his voting records first hand. With a name starting with Mohammed, one could assume he is not a Christian, but instead likely worships allah, the same religion of which those who crashed planes into our buildings on September 11th claimed to be doing in that name of. Oh was I supposed to be giving reasons to vote "FOR" him Would be interesting to see how anyone can give any justification for voting for or supporting him, that is other than those who Oprah Winfrey has already bought for him. That was exactly what I intended to put in my post asking for information from his supporters, and for some reason I entered Mohammed instead of Hussein. It was a totally unintentional slip. But I still would like to know what positions he holds that make people believe he would be a good President.

This is apparently one of them. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp As to my thoughts about Barack Obama, I haven't formed them yet because I don't have enough information to have done so. Interestingly enough, it came from an investigation conducted by Hillary Clinton's people into Obama's past! Hillary's staff then "leaked" the info to Insight magazine. Ladies and gentlemen, the first warning shots of Campaign 2008 have been fired! And they came from Camp Hillary!!!!
