JimPic
Re: Benelli Nova Load and choke suggestions please My Nova shoots great with a $20 Undertaker choke and 3" Winchester Supreme XX #5's.Try a 3" shell before investing in any other choke tubes-mine didn't pattern all that well with the 3.5" shells either

AJ
Re: Benelli Nova Load and choke suggestions please If you want the setup, call the guys at Nitro Company . This is their recommendation for the Nova: Benelli SBE (newer than 5 yrs) & Nova (12ga. 3.5") Hevishot® Turkey Load With a .660 2" Extended Rhino Choke or a Primos Jelly Head .655 Choke H51013 #4x5x7 or #2x5x7 Hevishot® 230-270 pellets Use their custom ammo. Its expensive, but nothing comes close in performance.

It looks like someone punched a hole in the target at 20 yards with that combo.

It improved his patterns quite a bit. I would highly recommend it. The undertaker is fine, but there are MUCH better to be had. His best loads were (out of 8 loads tried) Federal Flight Control 3.5" #6 NOT HIGH VELOCITY Remington H.S. #6 The federal load was more consistant than the heavi-shot. The Hevi had several gaps in the pattern. Both of these loads had 12-15 lethal hits at 40 yards. The undertaker had less than half of that with ALL loads tested except the H.S. since your not supposed to use it in the undertaker. Anyways I've personally witnessed many different loads and two chokes in the Nova. The Jellyhead is far better.
WaCoyote
Re: Benelli Nova Load and choke suggestions please I do agree with the 3" suggestion. Just not necessarily the choke. I've used the undertaker myself in my BPS but the Comp-n-choke blew it away. It wasn't even close.
