Tony
Iowa games wasnt much better. i shot 376 and they had low 12s. i shot pretty good, i just missed 4 yardages by a lot. i have been practicing this week and i have a couple of shoots this coming weekend. i wonder why i can smoke spot targets out to 60 yards and maintain 4 inch groups, but i cant seem to hit a 5 inch 10 ring on a stupid deer at 28 yards? its really starting to irritate me. Tony
Last 3 D shoot of the year. i shot at Indianola Iowa today. Mid Iowa Archers puts on a good shoot and i wanted to get in just one more open gear shoot before hunting season. i shot 368 out of 400 possible. no 5s, but i had 1 zero from hitting a stupid twig. this season had its highs and lows and i feel i might be getting the hang of 3d finally. now im going to convert the Ultratec to a back up hunting bow and start shooting broadheads tomorrow from both bows. ultratec1
Well I finally made it back to shoot again. The last time I shot was the last score that I posted. Boyd from Buck Hollow wanted to have a staff shooters meeting and have everyone discuss our trip to vegas and also for the hoyt shooters to get there shooters bow ordered. Well we decided to shoot a 300 Vegas round. It was Boyd, Blake, Lynn and Myself. Scores went Lynn 300-24X BHFS Me 300-18X BHFS Blake 298-24X FS Boyd- I dont think he ever did tell us what he shot!! Good night of shooting and I got my new shooters bow ordered....... Black ultra-elite 3000limbs 60lbs cam.5 plus Black limb pockets Black cams The whole bow will be black except for the strings which I will probably shoot white winners choice strings. Tony
just got my Lancaster package today. it has targets and v-bar attachment so im ready to head to Lacona to shoot one morning. but i think i wont start until after Thanksgiving. i need to get with Ultratec1 and figure out what new bow i need to order. probably a new UltraElite or a Ultra 38. i will only be albe to make it to just a couple of shoots this year. probably State Indoor and the Deer classic shoot. it really sucks that i have to drive so far to shoot Indoor. but thats the penalty im paying for living in Creston Iowa. my apartment is nice and its quiet, but no archery shop anywhere close that has a indoor range. ultratec1
Well we all met back up at Boyds tonight for a shooting session and all in all we shot pretty well. Lynn had alot of right arrows and did the smart thing and left his sight alone. He was just having one of those nights where your just not into it. Even then he still shot a 300-56 Here is how we did. Lynn 300-56 BHFS Me 300-59 BHFS Blake 300-59 FS Boyd 298-? FS Things held good and the majority of the time the release went off good. Just need to shoot only the days where I feel like it.

ultratec1
Went to Boyds on Wednesday and the 4 of us shot together again. Lynn 300-56X Me 300-58x Blake 300-58x Boyd- once again he didnt say. Last night Lynn put a twist in his cable and wanted to head to Lacona to shoot some so off we went. Lynn 300-55X Me 300-57X with 42 of them being inside-out. Man the pin held great all night but the 3 that I dropped I knew they were bad shots when they went off. Either dropped my bow arm or the release went off when the pin wasnt where it was suppose to be. I'm going to give a week or so before I shoot again. I've learned to shoot only when I feel like shooting and not to push it when I don't feel the need to shoot.
