dogdoc
I just read where the Texas Rangers are close to signing Sammy Sosa to a minor league contract. Sammy actually was a Ranger in his early years before he was traded to the White Sox. I wonder if the man can still hit the ball after being off for a year? i guess no harm signing him to a minor league contract and giving him a try. colts1888
Re: Sosa a Ranger..again???? I use to be a huge Sosa fan while he was a Cub. That all changed the night they found cork inside his bat. He's a cheater in my book. I couldnt even sell his jersey away at a yard sale when i tried. unioncountyslayer
Re: Sosa a Ranger..again???? I've always liked Sammy, corked bat and all. I hope he takes advantage of his second chance.

[ QUOTE ] heard some scouts when and watched him work out and they was impressed so thats why he is getting the possible deal.. [/ QUOTE ] That's what I heard too. For more info, you can do a search for: Jamey Newberg Rangers, he is a big ranger fan and writes a lot about them. No harm in signing Sammy, if he's his old self, then you get a steal. If he can't play anymore, then you have lost very little!!
