wtnhunt
Really not very pretty pics too look at, buckee wanted to see what a couple yotes can do. Took these this morning and it really did not look like the coyotes had been back since yesterday afternoon. Shot her at around 4:30 or so Wednesday afternoon, heard the coyotes howling a few minutes after 6 right after I got down from the blind. Found her this way at about 3:30 Thursday afternoon about 450 to 500 yards from where I shot her. Looking at the teeth I am pretty sure she was at least 3 1/2 years old, but most most likely 4 1/2. Really could not tell for sure where I hit her, too much missing.
buckee
Re: First bowkill pics-coyotes beat me too her They sure made a mess quick eh. Funny how predators always rip the guts out and eat them frist. Man, they don't know what there missing I had 2 bucks stolen on me, 2 years in a row by blackbears in a matter of an hour or less. The first thing they did was rip open the rib-cage and feast on the inerds, before touching the rest. Sure makes a mess though. Thanks for the pics Willy and I hope you can clean up a few of them yotes
superguide
Re: First bowkill pics-coyotes beat me too her There was a big boar black bear up here awhile back was killing cows and eating their udders off them-one thing bout a bear like that they aren't too hard to eliminate. dogdoc
Re: First bowkill pics-coyotes beat me too her william----i bet ya money those yotes will be back--they probably have been avioding it from all the activity of you trying to find her. You should set up your game cam on her and see what visits--might give you an idea of how many yotes are in that pack. sorry again todd

billygoat
Re: First bowkill pics-coyotes beat me too her yep! they make minced meat out of deer... you want to get yourself a couple of yotes, if it's legal and you have a moon or light, go sit over her the next couple of nights... you'll get a couple of dogs and a little revenge. tedicast
Re: First bowkill pics-coyotes beat me too her The doe I lost t oyotes this fall, looked almost identical, exceptthe head and the neck were gone too. just like yours, there was nothing left behind the ribcage except skin, and the front legs/shoulder were prettymuch untouched. Mine was demolished like that in 8 hours, during daylight.

Hillbilly
Re: First bowkill pics-coyotes beat me too her I would use a rabbit distress call. Here in my southern Indiana home we have tons of them, and they run in a big big pack. What I like to do during the summer when the yote pups are fairly grown up is take a tape that has pup distress call. I've had 30 yotes come into my area. I didn't have a gun, I just wanted to test it out. Also rabbit distress calls are also a must. Goodluck
