muggs
the kid we all remember from 2nd grade who'd take his ball and go home if he wasn't winning. Can anyone tell me of a bigger sore loser than this guy? First there's the hoody, then the weak mid-field greeting with his former asssistant Eric Mangini after the Jets beat them in the regular season, then throwing the cameraman out of his way when the Pats beat the Jets in their first playoff game this year...and now his two answer post-game interview. It was so nice seeing such a classless guy eat one finally. Its also good to see Tony Dungy get the win, this is one guy who's nothing but class. You'd think a 21-3 lead would be enough for the most intelligent gameplanner of all time woudln't you? When Brady's arm can't carry him...Belichick gets exposed for what he is...a fraud. Guest Andrea
Re: Belichick is.... Yeah, he is a dork. And I wish his wife would BURN all those stupid grey sweatshirts he's cut up and worn like a badge of honor. Glad the Colts are headed to the BIG BOWL. They deserve it. Gonna be a good game. dogdoc
Re: Belichick is.... there have been a lot of coaches that were classified as "great" coaches b/c they had a few special players. I'd have to agree that Brady opened the door for the Hall of Fame for Belichick. I saw after the game where Manning went up to him to shake his had--they shoot hand but Belichick didn't even want to look at him or congratulate him. Also glad to see the Colts pull this one out---for Manning and Dungy.
wtnhunt
Re: Belichick is.... Glad to see Dungy get to go, would agree with you that he is a great coach and has a lot of class. Missed seeing any of the after the game interviews. Would not have thought Belichek would have been like that. The look on Brady's face at teh end of the game though was one that appeared to me to be of shock.

It looked like to me Belicheck walked right past Manning without even acknowledging him. Did he even shake his hand? He did spend a surprisingly good amount of time congratulating Dungy, but that Manning thing was strange.
muggs
Re: Belichick is.... Belichick coach a few seasons here in Cleveland and was terrible to the media and fans. Actually, during his time here he'd refuse to give post-game press conferences and he road Bernie Kosar, a fan favorite, out of town almost overnight. It kind of looked like he pushed manning out of his way, I would be surprised if he did shake his hand!
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Belichick is.... Sad to see guys act this way, sore loser for sure! 21 to 3 lead, they thought they had it in the bag, I went to bed when it was 28 to 21, I thought the Pats had it too! Congrats to Dungy and his Colts, well deserved!

Valkrie1357
Re: Belichick is.... Off Topic Glad to see the Colts get the WIN! But Am I The Only one that noticed?? With the Pats Offense on the Field with less than 2 Min togo. Manning is Sitting on the Bench with his head down Feeling SORRY FOR HIMSELF??? (Couldn't bear to Look)MA I'm gonna Miss another SB. Instead of STANDING on the Side line CHEERING on the (his)DEFENSE, They are the ones WHO REALLY Won the game for the COLTS. Then, After the Defensive Interception, he Runs out on the Field, Like Aren't You Proud of ME??? NOPE!!!! I'm Not Hope the Super Bowl is as good a scoring game as the 2nd half of the AFC Championship.

But Belichick and his two word answers for that reporter at the end just showed how much of a sore looser he was. Heck even Boomer said right before the end of the show, "What was that"! All the while laughing!

I guess since Manning won a big game you have to nitpick for ANYTHING to bash him about now. And i will have to disagree with your statement that the defense is who really won this game. The Colts offense scored more points in the 2nd half then any other team scored on the Pats in an entire game. That says it all. That being said, every win is a team win, one guy doesnt win or lose you a game. They all contributed, but to suggest that the offense had nothing to do with it is pure Manning bashing at it's best. Everyone said that LT was a sore loser and couldnt take the no class PATS dancing on the logo of the Chargers. I think LT was right!! Belichick couldn't even congrat the colts on a great football game and win... its all about him!!! By the way, I guess nobody will ever give Peyton credit when its due big time... Valk, how can you say that about him, in his post interview all he talked about was the final drive, how the PATS are a great team and how the Colts organization is great... I never heard him say I went down there and won the game, I brung us back in the game..... People its getting old when you try and make Peyton look awful by trying to put words into his mouth, that you know he will never say.... wtnhunt
Re: Belichick is.... Honestly think Manning was probably a bit too nervous to watch. Dont think he had his head down in shame though. Was kind of funny really, think one of the commentators mentioned something about Peyton peaking up at the bigscreen just before the interception.
