Oh man, 2 things immediately pop into my head. A rafting guide for Nantahala Outdoor Center OR a photographer for National Geographic. cool.gifcool.gifcool.gif

Stick with the photography. Nantahala is WAY COLD even in July wink.gif Me, my dream job would be to be a big game guide in Colorado. However, I'm as close as I can get in the real world. The job I have now was my dream job, the guide thing is just a fanatsy. I wanted to be a professional firefighter since I became a Jr. Volunteer in 1986. Now I'm a paid Lieutenant with the largest department in my area. Been here since 1994.

Oh yeah, I know exactly how cold it is. I love it. If I lived up there, I'd definitely be working there. Or heck, maybe even one of the kayaker's that go down ahead of the rafting groups so they can wait and take the pictures of them coming down the rapids. cool.gifcool.gif

Re: Dream Job

I've always wanted to own an outdoors store with and outdoors restaurant right next door. I love to cook and I love outdoors merchandise. I think that where I live could make a very good profit and attract a wide range of clients. One of my themes for the restaurant would be to have a different exotic meat every week for a special as well as the usual fair of great steak-house dining. Sort of like a Fin and Feather place. All of the staff would wear blaze orange uniforms including the chefs with Blaze orange chefs jackets. Lots of mounts all over the walls and a meeting room for clubs and conferences. Annual Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners with wild turkey and roasted hogs. One large great room for Lambert's style dining with lots of fun and country music in the air. The outdoors store would be attached through a walk way and would be tourist like with Rend Lake everything. Basically it would be like if you can do it at Rend Lake then I have the supplies for it. Bowsmith and Gunsmith on site every day and the best Mathew's and Hoyt and Bowtech bows you can buy. It would be a hunter and fisherman's dream. Course I haven't thought about it too much but that's just off the top of my head. LOL
