Before you take it back check the set screw in the back of the trigger. You can adjust it in and out to be more or less of a hair trigger.

Hutchies right...most releases have a adjustable hex screw on them for trigger adjustment. If it doesn't, then get one that does.

I shoot the TRU-Fire Hurricane buckle, don't like noisy velcro straps in the woods. The buckle goes on my wrist silently.

Good advice guys. If that is all that you don't like about the release, then the set-screw adjustment may just be your anser. When you get it to where you want it, put a few drops of loc-tight on it so it never backs off on you. wink.gif

Check out the Carter Two Shot or the Quickie or Quickie2. They are great releases. The triggers are very, very heavy, so you can squeeze through the trigger rather than a light trigger that goes off with any pressure. Plus, the triggers have zero-travel, which is really cool. The trigger and the distance from the wrist strap to the release itself are both fully adjustable.

a good release for hunting is one that has no trigger creep at all. for me i shoot a Carter One shot caliper release for hunting. the trigger is just so very crisp and reliable shot after shot.

Shoot Strong
