Nick
Alright, I got the 460XVR....So the big cost is out of the way. Now I need a scope...Any reccommendations? I dont know a whole lot about pistol/scope combinations so any advice is appreciated. I know I like Leupold on my rifles. Money isnt an issue as long as it isnt ridiculous......I want a good quality scope thats going to optimize the guns capabilities.
bowana
Re: Scopes I have a Leupold 2.7x8 VariXIII on Mine. I Love it. I think this might be about the best scope you can get.
AJ
Re: Scopes While I am not a big fan of Leupold rifle scopes, I definately don't like their handgun scopes. I have destroyed 2 of them when I had my 45-70 Contender. Burris has the best handgun scopes IMO. They have withstood some of the thumping handrifle cartridges and keep on performing. VTbowman
Re: Scopes Burris seems to be the premier handgun scope line everyone uses on the encore/contender type pistols. 2-7x32 or 3-12x32 Then Bushnell Elites 3200 or thier Thorphy line too... 2-6x32. Bushnel has the best and most consistant eye relief. Most handgun scopes (variables) loose eye relief as you dial up the power. Id look at thoses before you buy...
