TexasDeerHunter
Ok, I'm bored and just wanted to stir up everyones thought process. If you could only have four guns ( 22 rifle, centerfire rifle, pistol, and shotgun) what would you choose and why?
TexasDeerHunter
Re: What would be your choices? Here are mine 1)Rem 514 .22 - just like the old school simplicity 2)Colt 1911 Officers .45acp - good carry gun, ammo and parts readily available, and upgrades are endless 3)Rem 700 CDL 30-06 - dependable, ammo selection and versatility, good for all N. American big game 4)Beretta Silver Pigeon .28ga - lightweight, dependable and fast handling. A bit small for duck and turkey, but that steps up the challenge. bearcat
Re: What would be your choices? 1) Savage model 84C .22 LR. This gun was my dads he gave it to me and it is a very accurate rifle. 2) Springfield Armory XD Tactical .45 ACP. As good or Better than a Glock and holds 14 rounds. 3) Remington model 700 XCR .300 Winchester Mag. This rifle is impervious to the elements and the caliber will go anywhere and do most anything. 4) Benelli Super Black Eagle II 12 gauge in Realtree Hardwoods HD Green. Great all around shotgun for all hunting situations. Silver Member #5 .........Off the porch gang

Shaun_300
Re: What would be your choices? Browning BL .22 LR Browning BLR .300 WSM Browning Citori 28ga Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga I picked two shotguns because we're not allowed to have pistols in Canada. Only if you have a restricted firearms license and are a member of a shooting club. They cannot be used to hunt or be carried what-so-ever except for that purpose. I have all of those guns except the Citori.
M00N
Re: What would be your choices? 1. Remington Model 5 - 22 WMR 2. Remington Model 700 XCR Camo RMEF Edition - .300 Rem Ultra Mag 3. T/C Encore Pro Hunter Pistol - .270 Win 4. Remington Model 870 SPS Super Mag Max Gobbler - 3 1/2" 12-Gauge The reason I chose these weapons is I love Remington and T/C firearms and if I was rich and could run out right now at this moment and buy 4 new guns of the ones you specified that's the ones I'd pick up. Also, if you would have included Muzzleloader, too I would have chose a T/C Encore Pro Hunter 209/50 Muzzleloader with the Camo Flex Tech stock. AJ
Re: What would be your choices? Nope. I almost went for the Kolar but in a trap gun since in reality I can hvae more than just 4 guns. I stopped shooting trap competitively so I can't justify spending $10K on a gun. I figured with your only 4 guns why not go for some of the top of the line stuff. Not that any of these will actually perform any better than 4 guns that cost less combined than the Dakota or Kolar, they are just the next level.
