Buckslayer
Re: ULTIMATE OTPG rifle....... I got the handgun version of that for Christmas, I don't like it cause it kicks too much... Strut that type of energy is only meant to be propelled from an attack helicopter. I think it would knock anyone off the porch.... Or their shoulder off their torso maybe. AJ
Re: ULTIMATE OTPG rifle....... Check out the Wildcat chamberings that Pac-Nor offers. They have some cool things like 6.5-50 BMG, 375-50 BMG, 375-50 BMG Ackley Improved, and for those that want to run with the big dogs a 50-20mm Pac-Nor Ackley Improved. That's a 20mm case that is necked down to hold a 50 caliber bullet and blown out to minimum taper for more powder capacity and less brass flow. PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
Re: ULTIMATE OTPG rifle....... I once read of a guy that necked a 105 howitzer down to the size of a sewing needle. They don't know the actual speed of the bullet but the bullet hit him 5 times in the back before he fell dead.
AJ
Re: ULTIMATE OTPG rifle....... LOL! Yeah, that's the ticket. I have seen a 50 BMG that was necked down to hold .17 caliber bullets. Of course it was a cartridge only. There was no actual gun chambered for this combination.

robk
Re: ULTIMATE OTPG rifle....... i wish i could afford one of those things just to shoot and enjoy it . i got to shoot a nice one in 40 cal and it was really a nice shooting weapon. now it is not like i had in nam where i was playing with my 308 but which is a great weapon in itself b ut the 50 makes such a big noise and your end results are better. saw on onre of those videos you get sometimes and i wish i knew the one had a spot where there alqueda freaks up and jumpoing in afghanistan and celebrating and suddenly there were body parts all over the place. it seems he was met with a high explosive round from a what the military calls the arm of gbod and the last thing i saw was a leg going abouot 25 to 30 ft in the air. now that is the way to let them know your not safe anywhere. strut i like your toy and bet it is a good conversation piece lol rob k
