Hey Guys, I'm here in S. IL, but we have found one matched set from this year already, and 2 other singles. Found them the 2nd weekend in January. We have also seen a few with one side! Good luck to you all.

Re: Shed in Northern Illinois

I went out last saturday morning and seen 3 older bucks with no racks and a few spikes, a 6 pointer, and 2 - 8 pointers with full racks. While i was looking for sheds i seen one of the 8 pointers chasing a couple of does that must have still been hot, he had his nose to the ground and was grunting like crazy. I could not believe there would still be does in heat this late in the year this far north . I did not find any sheds , but had a good time watching the deer . I will be heading out again saturday morning.
