RyanH
Hey guys im about to sell my Hoyt Cybertec to buy my new buy! Could I turn this cybertec into a target boy? If I change out the limbs and cam and such? And would it be good? Or would i be better just selling it?
Tony
Re: 2001 Cybertec! thats going to be a tough call Ryan .... it would be better to have something a little longer ATA and brace height ... possibly you could change it out if you put 3000 limbs and Cam .5 on it... but thats going to cost you about as much as a new bow.. i believe new limbs are 200 bucks a pair and cams are probably 100... then theres a new string that would have to go on it ... guess its going to up to you on what to do . if you sell it then do you have another bow to shoot while your trying to find a new rig ? or do you have another bow in mind as soon as you get the dough ? good luck on your choice

Tony
Re: 2001 Cybertec! the new Vtec is a good one for sure...its so quiet that it should be outlawed for shooting at deer ! good deal Ryan find something you like......
RyanH
Re: 2001 Cybertec! Hey Tony what do you think Xtec? Or Vtec? Which do you think is a better bow? I think they are basically the same!
Chrud
Re: 2001 Cybertec! An '01 CyberTec...you'd have unmatching riser and limbs then, right? I don't think there is any difference between the X and V, just really the riser points and the grip. All the specs are identical. I can honestly say, even as much as I like my XTEC, I don't understand that at all. Why would a company make two identical bows (as far as specs are concerned)? It would be like Chevy having identical trucks (chasis, motor, etc.) and one called a Silverado and one called a Chrudmobile. I don't get it. To be honest, if you could probably find a great deal on a NEW '04 XTEC and be just as happy as you would be with an 05 X or V. JMHO.
