ilhnter
Re: Colts vs. Bears Bears by at least 14........No one gave the bears a chance against the #1 offense in the league and they pretty well shut them down and I believe the bears will do the same to the colts. The defense will produce a few turnovers and give the offense good field position. I think the Bears will be able to run the ball which will force the Colts to bring there safties up in the box which will then open up Grossman and the Bears passing game. And not to mention the Bears special teams.....In all honesty the colts special teams is not too good, so the Bears have a distinct advantage with Hester.....Thats why I say BEARS by at least

Guest Finn
Re: Colts vs. Bears If Rex doesn't turn the ball over, the Bears will probably win. If Grossman has a 1.3 QB rating or something low like that, they don't have a chance.
huntermq32
Re: Colts vs. Bears Well lets see the colts running game is a one man show and the bears have three running backs that are very good. The colts defence is no were near as good as the bears and the fact that the colts could hardly stop the pats return man who is only half as good as Hester. Manning is a great player but it will take more than that to beet the bears.

That might have been true when Edge played there. Not now, they are a 2 back system in Rhodes and Addai and it has worked perfectly this postseason. Special teams is a concern, and since the Bears primarily win on defense and special teams, i would look for Indy to do everything but kick to Hester. Giving Grossman a shorter then normal field isnt like giving Tom Brady a short field. Plus, they beat Brady despite all the ST issues, just shows how good of a team they are. The defense actually played one heck of a game versus the Pats when you consider field position. The D isnt as good as the Bears, but it's been very solid this postseason and there 2 pass rushers are 2 of the best in the business. So Bears fans better hope Sexy Rexy isnt forced to throw much. rhine16
Re: Colts vs. Bears I'm just ready for Spring Training to start , maybe we will get a sport worth watching on tv, even if it is exhibition games . Deer season is over so bring on the baseball. But since it aint here yet, i'll guess i should give my 2 cents on this worthless sport. (Just kidding guys) I guess i'll have to say the Bears will win this one though i am a Colts fan. As fore mentioned, defense wins championships. I hope Peyton and Marvin can pull it out, but i dont see it happening. Bears 24 Colts

double_drop
Re: Colts vs. Bears The Colts offense hasn't shown up in the playoffs...while the Bears Offense rolled up 39 points against the Saints who had a lot better numbers than Indy on the year. The Bears will also score deep as there is no one in the Colt secondary that matches Berrians speed nor MuHammeds...size. Rex CAN and WILL throw deep on the Colts. Didn't Chicago only put up 13 or so against NE? And if I can use some of your logic from a thread earlier this year.....since Indy beat a team that beat Chicago, Indy should have no problem beating Chicago. Yet according to DD, the offense just hasnt showed up.
