So I'm sleeping and Andy comes in and wake up up at 8am. Guess what is in our woods? Deer! shocked.gifsmile.gif Usually with our dogs, you don't see the deer as they move through our woods and go back to the big woods. Our woods is a on he side of a hill with an alafalfa field on one side, and our corn field and horsep asture on the other. the deer are still in there as I write this. they were up feeding and have bedded down again in some thick brushy stuff. Andy thinks there are five. I also saw 3 Red Squirrels in one of our sugar Maples closer to the house, and 2 of them doing it. crazy.gifcrazy.gif I think it's a little cold for that, lmbo smirk.gifgrin.gif Gee, what an exciting morning! Anyone else have a thrill to wake up to?

Re: Guess what I woke up to!

I woke up to this past morning a cold wet dog nose being pressed against my bare stomach telling me it's time to let her outside. She's my alarm clock wakes me up same time every morning.

The squirrels are going nuts around here, too TG. The hawks find this the easiest time to pick off unsuspecting and otherwise distracted squirrels for lunch. grin.gif

Used to see deer in the backyard here quite frequently Ruth. Dont see them all that often anymore. Here lately I have been being awoken by feet in my side or a finger pinching my lip from our little one who has ended up in the bed with us 4 out of the last 6 nights.
