johnf
Re: camo\'d my shotgun That looks great! Was that hard to do? I've been thinging about doing that to my 243. I know you don't really need it for a deer rifle, I just ting it would be cool. Do you think it could be done on a Marlin model 60 22lr with the tube mag? DU_man_84
Re: camo\'d my shotgun yep i love em it, ive been camo clading my 870 for about the past 6 years, really easy to do and looks good, one thing i will say, your gun will rust and a few of the over laping seams, barely though, ive camo clad mine twice in the past 6 years and it happened both times, but nothing bad

DU_man_84
Re: camo\'d my shotgun nope she was clean, just after a years of duck hunting in sleet, snow, and rain, some moisture must have gotten in between the seams, cause when i took it off after 3 years to redo it there was one small perfect rust line around the barrel where the two seams of camo clad overlapped and also there was a rust line right where the stock meets the reviever where the clad overlapped, but they were nothing serious
AJ
Re: camo\'d my shotgun Yep, moisture can he trapped in the seams and reach the unprotected metal. That's why I spray paint the guns I want camo'd. The spray paint protects better than the blueing does and if it gets scratched, its a very easy fix. CampRAGS
Re: camo\'d my shotgun looks good. camo clad i take it is a form of tape? what does it do to your gun when you take it off? i have not hear of camo clad before.

Guest adamc
Re: camo\'d my shotgun camo clad has a 3M backing on it, I wouldn't call it tape b/c it really isn't that sticky but holds very well. I had a piece i had to remove and reapply and there was no sticky adhesive or anything left on the gun.
