I am in need of some new carbon arrows. I had to sell the ones I had they were a little overspined for my setup. These are the ones I am considering if you have a different suggestion don't hesitate to post it. Carbon express maximas gold tip pro hunters or the easton axis they will be used for hunting only no 3d ( whitetail deer only)

Re: which new carbon arrows

I would go with either the Maximas, or the GT pros. they both have way better tolerances then the axis. The Maximas are a little lighter then the Pro's, but the pros have a little better tolerance.Plus or minus .001" for the pros, to .002" for the maximas. They are both plus or minus 1 grain. The axis are plus or minus .005, and 2 grains. You will probably never notice these tolerances with field points, and probably not even with a fixed blade broadhead. But for the money we spend on arrows, I prefer the tighter tolerances to give me every advantage I can possibly get.

Re: which new carbon arrows

i have been shooting the Goldtip Pro hunters for 3 hunting seasons now. i havent shot any of the others you listed and some guys like them a lot.

but those Goldtip 5575 pro hunters are just awesome. very straight and really close on weight tolerance also. i couldnt be happier with them. grin.gif
