Well my dad met a guy a couple weeks ago who knew Steve from Michigan Out of Doors TV Show. Well I told my dad to tell the guy to tell Steve to come out and goose hunt with me.

Guess what

3 Night ago I get a call saying hed like to hunt with me if i wanted him to. Im always up for someone going out in the field. Lol he said hed see if he could get a cameraman. Well today him, my dad, and I went out, no cameraman, which is just as fine.

First hour after light 9 honkers come, all of us get 1.

about 10 a.m 10 flocks of about 15-30 come.

Steve got 1, my dad got 2, me....none, lol missed.

Noonish Steve got his limit, and I got 2 for my limit.

I figured hey lets call some more people out, so I called my cousin, my uncle, and two goose hunters i know. They all come out.

And guess what

By Days End

EVERYONE got THEIR LIMIT!

Monday I may be having a cameraman come out with us as well when steve comes back. Too bad Jimmy, the lead guy at the show couldnt come out, lol.

Lets put it this way

next year there is an open invite to any forum member to come and goose hunt with me.

We hunt next to a quarry, which stays open almost all year. The rest of the water around is all froze up, so the Geese ALL congregate here. Including geese from up north. Its not unusual right now to see 1000 geese. I swear its crazy. You see geese all day. Not to mention the ducks.

This time of year the activitiy picks up because its the only body of water open besides the Maumee river 20 miles south, or lake erie.

So anybody interested in hunting next year here?

Ive got about 15 fields now, thanks to two weeks of asking farmers every day.

About 2000 acres total. cool.gif
