Randy
Re: ordered a feeder I'd go with some kind of protein pellet.
wyohunter
Re: ordered a feeder i think 6 feedings a day, up to 30 second feedings, holds 240 pounds of feed
mitrrophybowhunter
Re: ordered a feeder I am going to get the 440 Lb model soon. I like the built in ladder, it is a great touch.
Leo
Re: ordered a feeder [ QUOTE ] I'd go with some kind of protein pellet. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with Randy. Pellets mixed with corn are the way to go for off season supplemental feeding. There's lots of good deer pellets out there. The deer benefit from pellets way more than they do corn. wyohunter
Re: ordered a feeder i agree, the corn is for the pheasants as much as the deer,
toddyboman
Re: ordered a feeder WE use to feed Purina Deer Chow protein pellets. The deer around here WOULD NOT eat it over corn, no suprise. But if we mixed the deer chow and the corn together then fed it to them they would eat it. Just a thought.. wtnhunt
Re: ordered a feeder Have seen that feeder in the cabelas catalogs and considered something similar. Would also suggest using a protein pellet.
