MikeB
I'm considering switching to a fall away. Any suggestions for one that is reliable yet easy to install?
Guest Hunter36
Re: Fall away rests I've used a trphy taker worked good but I ended up switching to a Limb Driver by Vapor Trail. It is pulled away by your bows limbs and is very easy to install. All you really need is a allen wrench
Guest Finn
Re: Fall away rests Trophy Taker Shakey is a great rest....simple and it works. Plus it doesn't cost alot.
hoytman26
Re: Fall away rests I've shot a trap door for 4 years. Never had it fall premature or not fall after the shot. Absolutely love it. Its also easy to install and set. About $100. Its worth it. No strings, its falls by inertia. http://www.huntinfo.com/product/trapdoor.php
Guest forsythe04
Re: Fall away rests i like them, but i wish they would lock in a set position...i bought the nap hunter fall away to try (just like the rip cord) 49.99 and i couldnt be happier
Leo
Re: Fall away rests Totally honest in my experience. I've split arrows with bows equipped with a whisker biscuit. IMO they are absolutely accurate enough a rest to hunt with. My problem with them is they do have a break in period and they do have a worn out period. The muzzy zero effect is the most consistent practically bulletproof rest (all rests not just fallaways) I've ever used. I've yet to wear one out or have an issue with it. I speaking specifically of the cable guard model. Not the Mathews conversion model (which I don't particularly like.)

[/ QUOTE ] BINGO!!!!!! TT Shakey is IMO the simplest Fall away out there. You can find them on AT for about $30-$40.

Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: Fall away rests there are several ones out there that i wouldn't hesitate to use...i have the Zero Effect on my bow right now...the Trophy taker is a good one....the Q.A.D. ultra rest is another...and you can't go wrong by gettting another whisker biscuit
arrow32
Re: Fall away rests Alot of good drop aways out there. I really like the NAPs. I have a Hoyt drop away right now made by NAP works great.

Guest skinner2
Re: Fall away rests I love my muzzy ze that I have on my tribute . I don't have to worry about my arrow falling off when I come to full draw and I am not a fan of having a cord operate my arrow rest

maytom
Re: Fall away rests This will be my second season shooting the drop zone. I went to a string loop and a drop away rest on my Switchback back in the fall of 2005. So far I like it alot, it's always worked fine!!
