Tominator
That this superbowl will be one of the lowest rated superbowls of all time. Your thoughts?

muggs
Re: I Predict.... Hmmm...I don't know about that. Peyton Manning finally getting there should generate a decent amount of interest, don't you think?
buckbuster11
Re: I Predict.... I would not be surprised if it's pretty low. The hype for this year's game is way down isnt it? I have to keep reminding myself that the Super Bowl is this weekend.

JJL
Re: I Predict.... Don't be so sure. Peyton Manning is the "face" of the NFL, and there's 6,000,000 TV's in Chicagoland. That number alone will help boost numbers immensly.
colts1888
Re: I Predict.... Unless someone says something stupid today at media day, i dont look for this superbowl to have that extra incentive to watch for. Last year it was Porter and Stevens who provided a little fuel to get the fire going. I wouldnt look for the Colts to trash talk a whole lot with Dungy being there coach. A lot of people are going to think it's boring without that bickering back back and forth, personally i like seeing a couple teams with class just go out and play a football game. Im sure the ratings will be off the chart here in Indiana. I live almost exactly in between chicago and Indy. There are several Bears fans here as well as Colts fans. Nobody here is going to care about ratings.

DU_man_84
Re: I Predict.... ratings wise im not sure but as for ticket wise its getting pretty crazy, this years superbowl has some of the highest price tickets in superbowl history, bears fans here in illinois looking for tickets are finding prices anywhere from 4,000 to 12,000 dollars, i dont think its gonna be
wtnhunt
Re: I Predict.... You might be right Chris. Personally I have not followed football as close this year as I used to, but will watch the game. Should at least be a decent game.
Steven
Re: I Predict.... I predict that ESPN's annual NFL Films marathon(if they still do it) will be more exciting. I won't be watching the game. I'll be driving to Shreveport... and I'm not really disappointed either. The Super Bowl is usually one of the more boring games of the year. Guest Andrea
Re: I Predict.... The game will be great, the halftime show will BOMB. Simply because Prince is the entertainment. PUH-LEASE!!!! Some of his old stuff is good, but I bet he comes on with some weirdo songs. Shoulda had Tim McGraw or Rascal Flatts or VAN HALEN do the half time show. LOL Don't think the commericals will be that great either. They have been going downhill over the few years.

Sammy and Michael Anthony both got fired because they became good friends and Michael went on tour with Sammy while Van Halen was busy doing absolutely nothing, and Eddie got mad because they were doing VH songs. So, now they're trying a reunion tour with DLR. The problem is, Roth always kinda talked in rhythm while Sammy had a huge voice with amazing range. Now, Roth has to try to match it, when, based on the bluegrass video, he can't even match his own voice anymore.
