I like it when the cop is pulling dope out of the pocket and there standing there telling the officer..."That's not mine"..."I don't no how it got there"... Not to mention Ken (Swamphunter) is a police officer, and if you knew how big he is, I really don't think you'd be saying stuff like that on here. Oh and about the topic! The cop kept asking him if he smoked weed, or had any on him. After a few minutes the copped reached up, grabbed it, and the guy said it wasn't his! [/ QUOTE ] i agree, i aint a police officer yet but i am going to school to become one, and i respect all officers of the law to the full extent, for what officers do everyday with their life on the line to protect and serve others, deserve a lot of respect and i also believe that was uncalled for, calling a police officer stupid is like calling a marine useless, police officers and military personal are two of the biggest jobs i respect because its what they do makes this world a better place for everyone Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The very same cousin who had an architecture degree, but wanted to 'give back some' before he launched his chosen career. It very well maybe the last thing they say. I respect the badge/uniform...however there are some that wear it that aren't too bright PERIOD! They are still human even with the badge/uniform on. Before you all jump on me...I have a good friend who is the Chief of Police in this area. I agree....comment on the show "Cops" and move on! I will tell you one thing though...any other profession, whether it be school teachers, military, doctors or whatever, if someone was to get on here and make an "all inclusive" statement like (so and so aren't too bright), it would not be viewed as acceptable by most anyone. It would also get sickening to those of you in THAT profession. About once every two months, someone new comes to the forums and thinks these forums are run like other ones and bad mouthing is acceptable. It is not alright to bad-mouth other brands of bows or equipment...but some of you seem to feel it is alright to bad mouth other types of professions or way of lives. I know that everytime a law enforcement post comes up, it will turn negative...everytime... without fail. Some people love to hate the police....until YOU need us. For 18 years I have watched so-called cop haters thank me when they had became the victim. I have learned to sit back, consider the sources and realize that some people have had bad experiences, but I am sure it was always the "cop just had it out for them, or he was a real jerk and had been like that ever since high school". Please forgive me if I sound a bit offended, maybe its because I am not too bright, just don't badmouth my Switchback XT, that is forbidden on here. Nicely said swampy, I am not a cop but will be married to a cop very soon, she works very hard for the police department and I really hate when people sterotype or classify every cop because they see something on TV and think that is the way every cop is. People should have a little more respect for those who are protecting them. They are only out to get you if you do something to draw attention to yourself or broke the law and that would make that particular person not very bright, not the police officer. And I would like to thank you for risking our life at minimal pay and with little recognition for protecting and serving each of us and your local community. I have cops in my family and it is truly a thankless, unappreciated job until someone becomes a victim. You always hear things like; "Where is a cop when you need one?" when a guy is doing 90mph passed you but then it's "That cop was trying to make his quota or was being a jerk for giving me a ticket!" when you get pulled over doing 75mph in a 55mph zone!
