Now adays there are alot more leases and ranches for people to go on to get there buck of a lifetime. We have talked about going for years now, but just haven't decided what to go for. If i am going to pay to hunt something why whitetails? Probably would be elk. Don't really need another buck mount that bad. I would say that with all the deer management and as many people now hunt for the sport and not just to feed the family this number is going up steadly. None over 140 here, and have only seen just a couple that would surpass that mark where I hunt. Here is my best to date, first deer I ever killed, maybe you can tell me what he scores, g-2's are 10 inches to help put the pic in perspective. I've been hunting for 5 seasons now with 3 other bucks in the bag or 4 total. I should probably start setting my standards a little higher. I will for sure once I get my first deer with a bow. If a young buck comes by I won't be passing that one. I've been trying for 3 seasons now so I just want to get the first deer with a bow out of the way. Central sask non typical, my first whitetail, my mule would have gone 104 Typical but dad shto an antelr off lol. Both are the net scores.
