Tony
i have been on a awesome roll for me shooting Indoor this year. but yesterday i got into a funk right at arrow number 50. i had shot a 448-30 X vegas round. i was hammering so well i started the next round of 15 arrows. i figured 15 more arrows and it will be a super round. so i start off 1x 30. then the next end i shoot a 0X 28. next end is 0X28. then 1X 30 and 1X 30. because im always evaluating each shot after the end. i somehow mucked up my shooting form. nothing felt good. too much Thinking... i developed a little anxiety in my release going off and i wasnt aggressive with the release at all. i was just a wimpy litte weiner waiting for it to happen. which made me hold too long and make poor shots. so today i went back with a buddy and i started out just as nasty as yesterday ended up. nothing felt good at all. thank goodness i had written all my bow specs down and could check them. they were all the same, right down to the tiller measurements. i then went through my shot sequence and found i wasnt relaxing my bow arm and release hand at all. i was trying to hard to get the shot to perfect. so i started relaxing and just focusing on the center. Bingo started hammering again. so the point of this is, have your current bow specs written down. also have your shot sequence written down when you are shooting your best. this way you can always review it if you need to correct a problem with your form or shot sequence.
