Rocket Hammerhead, which is a three blade 100 grain mechanical or the Rocket Stricknine if you want a 125 grain head. Both have a 2" cutting diameter. I'm sure the new Rage Slipcam broadheads would be awesome as well. With turkeys the bigger the cutting diameter the better. Hope this helps.

Re: broadheads for turkey

I personally like the Gobbler Guillotine broadheads. We had some guys that used mechanicals make good kill shots and the birds still flew up into the tree or away then died. Talk about tricky recovery of the bird. You either monkeyed it up a tree and got the bird or left it since the area we hunted cutting live trees wasn't allowed. Sometimes it took forever to find a bird that took flight and died somewhere and sometimes you never found it. Those guillotine broadheads though since they tend to chop the head clear off reduces that risk considerably because the birds may still do their flopping, but rarely take to flight and get away out of sight. I'd feel much more comfortable bowhunting turkeys while using those.

Re: broadheads for turkey

I personally wouldn't try a head shot with a bow on a turkey. Too small of a target...esp. a target that don't hold still very long!

With that said, any broadhead that you'd use for deer hunting...shot through a side shot where the wing attaches to the body will do the job. That body shot will take out the wings (can't fly) and go through the vitals resulting in a dead bird and less chances of a wounded/not recovered bird.
