longhorn57
Re: Remington 11-87 I love my 11-87! I blew out an O-ring mid season during a duck hunt and didn't even know it till I got home and took it apart for cleaning. That is the only thing I have had go wrong with mine since I got the gun 5 years ago. Its my all around shotgun, I take it everywhere and it gets pretty dirty in the goose fields and have not had 1 cycling problem but I clean it after every trip. AJ
Re: Remington 11-87 It's a great shotgun. I too have the Super Mag and it works just great. My only complaint is mine shoots about a foot to the right. I installed adjustable sights on it for turkey and deer with buckshot when I lived in VA. Guest Colorado Bob
Re: Remington 11-87 It's a good solid shotgun-----you'll be happy with it. Make sure it fits you-----that's more important than the name of the gun. CB

LETMGROW
Re: Remington 11-87 I am really partial to my 1100. BUT the 11-87 is one good shooting shotgun. I think it recoils a little less. I believe it was meant to replace the 1100 but the 1100 fans wouldn't give up. If I were to buy another autoloader I would probably buy the 11-87. There are others out there and some as good, my brand loyalty would probably prevail.
QDMAworks4me
Re: Remington 11-87 I bought one when I was 16 or so, which was about 14 years ago and in all that time I have nothing to complain about, you will really like it! Great gun.

maytom
Re: Remington 11-87 I won one in a raffle at my gun club years ago. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it seemed to bite off pieces of brass from the shells as I was unloading it after hunting. You could actually feel the burrs on the brass rim. Wonder if anyone else noticed that with their 11-87?
