QDMAworks4me
When I lived with my parents growing up I used to take vitamin C, vitamin E and a multi-vitamin and thought they were a good mix. I have gotten away from taking vitamins but since I just turned 30 I feel that I should go back to those habits. I am around kids all day teaching and am exposed to a lot of colds and other viruses and my dad always asks me “Are you taking your vitamins” and maybe it is time to listen to him and I was just wondering if anybody on here takes vitamins on a daily basis and is so what do you take? wtnhunt
Re: Vitamins Used to take a package of multivitamins that had like 6 pills. Just picked up a bottle of multi vitamins at sams club Saturday that are the same thing as centrum for active adults. Been taking them daily since and been drinking more water, cutting out soda and the extra sugar

Tominator
Re: Vitamins Yep, I take a One a Day men's forumla, along with 1200 mg of calcium nearly every day. One thing I do to keep the viruses away in my classroom is constantly wash my hands. If I touch a student's keyboard or mouse, or pencil, or anything, I immediately go to my sink and wash my hands. I've been known to Lysol a workstation if a kid is coughing, sneezing, or sniffling all period in hopes that it will protect the next kid who sits there. [/ QUOTE ] Chris I can certainly relate to what you are saying, I teach technology and there are three teachers in adjoining rooms which means there are 300 plus students that I come into contact a day, plus the students in the hallway, that is a lot of germs!! I decided during the cold seson to move the trash can away from my desk so the kids don't come up by me and blow their nose. I think this has helped a lot, maybe I need to get some Lysol along with my vitamins
