Guest Andrea
I WAS gonna go hunting today but dang if it isn't too warm out. It's 75 degrees. I just KNOW the skeeters will eat me alive. What's the hottest weather you've ever hunted in??
HarvDog
Re: Too hot! Nice Andrea...it's like 8 degrees here right now! Anyway, I hunted last year in about 70 degree weather.
unioncountyslayer
Re: Too hot! You need to get a Thermocell Andrea. What a life saver, best hunting product I've ever bought! Sometimes in the first few weeks of Bowhunting here in NC it's in the low 80's!

DSGB
Re: Too hot! I believe it got up above 90 a few afternoons during bow season this year. Time to break out the shorts and bug suit!

Rhino
Re: Too hot! The hottest temps I've hunted in here at home in MS was in the low 90's but that wasn't the hottest. I was bowhunting in Wyoming on a spot and stalk mulie hunt and they set a record one of the days I was there at 98 degrees. It was pretty bad that day making about a 6 mile hike with a guide. Very little shade during that hike too. It was miserable that afternoon.
Shaun_300
Re: Too hot! 75 in February?! Warmest temps I've ever deer hunted in were probably the mid 40's.
toddyboman
Re: Too hot! I have probably hunted in close to 90 degrees during early bow season. I would gladly take your 75 degrees and you can have some of our cold.
AJ
Re: Too hot! I hear ya, its been in the mid 70's here in the desert. I don't hunt big game above 80°. I don't need to kill a deer that bad. That's one of the reasons I am not bowhunting for deer here. Its too hot. I have varmint hunted in 90°-100° heat. RangerClay
Re: Too hot! I went deer hunting once and got bit up by mosquitoes here in NY. I don't remember watch the temperature was but it was very hot for New York standards. We sometimes get days in the 60's during our October deer hunts. I hate those days because the ticks come out. You should try a Thermocell Andrea!! No bugs and no smell.
