KSBOWHUNTER
I have write an argumentative paper for my English Comp II class. The instructor told us to pick a controversial subject, so I decided to do mine on hunting (pro vs. anti), but I need some web sites to get info from on both sides of the issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. Greg
Turkeygirl
Re: Need some help. hmm...check the NRA (National Rifle Assoc.), also www.findarticles.com I've used that for sources and info when writing papers for college - they have both free articles and ones you have to pay to get. Tominator
Re: Need some help. Well, take this from a guy who's in the middle of his masters thesis, watch the source of your articles. I'm sure there's plenty of articles of pro vs. anti hunting out there, but I'm betting that field is full of crackpots who think they know what they're talking about. For instance, PETA would not be a source that I would use in your research because of their bias. I don't know if you'd find any articles on your subject in the ERIC chronicles, but it's worth a try. ERIC lists articles and books mostly about education stuff, but the nice thing about it is that all their articles come from credible sources and it will list if it's "refereed" or not, which means the article has been "peer reviewed." www.eric.ed.gov
