toddyboman
Well I got a stealth cam package from BassPro for christmas. The package deal came with the camera, battieries, and a memory card. Problem 1. THe memory card WOULD NOT work in the stealth cam. But it would work in other cameras. So why would they send a faulty card?? Not that big of a deal it works in other cameras and I have other cards to use so I could at least us the camera. But the fact is they sent out a card that didn't work. So I sent stealth cam people an email about the problem. It took them 2 weeks to even reponse to my email. But once the finaly did They said they new about it and would send me out another card. I have yet to see this card. However in thier email they comfirmed my mailing address they was send it out to. Problem 2. After having the camera out for about a month the latch on the camera breaks. So again send them an email how I am not real satisfied with them now that problem 2 has arised. After waiting for over a week and no response I decided to call. The customer service rep I talk to really doesn't care much that the latch has broke and really doesn't offer to help out much. I was happy with the way the camera performed but stealth cam as a company I AM NOT !! Has anyone had any troubles with them or just me.. wtnhunt
Re: Stealth Cam My first camera I bought from wal mart was a stealth cam 35 mm. That cam was bad, took it back and exchanged it no questions asked. Second cam took thousands of pics over a couple years, think in the end it made it almost 3 years in the field non stop running. Somewhere along the way the latches on it broke. I called stealth, they sent me a new back for the camera, think it might have even been out of warranty at that time, but the csr was very nice. I think however some moisture must have gotten inside of it, it eventually ended up where the motor quit re-winding the film. Called stealth about that knowing it was well out of warranty, and the guy said just chuck it and go by you a new one, not worth fooling with trying to fix it, the guy had a bit of an attitude. Rewound I dont know how many rolls in the closet in the dark before the camera eventually quit all together on me.

Acted as if he could careless. Very frustrating. LIke I said I liked the way the camera performed, but if thats the way they treat the customers I dont want to support them.. I guess now I will have to travel 2 hours to BassPro to exchange it.
