Guest bruteshooter
I've heard they pee off their stands and onto the ground below. I've heard they pee into tubes connected to bottles filled with doe urine in order to mask the human scent. What's your take on "when you gotta pee, ya gotta pee? Leave the stand? Move off xxx yards in another direction? Only downwind? Let me know where and how you pee when you have to.

buckee
Re: Urine - problem or not? I used to have one of those large pickle jars hanging beside me in my stand, for just such an occasion...LOL...But have since learned that human pee does not effect or scare the deer at all. Your movement in the stand while standing up and letting it lose over the side will alarm the deer before your urine will. I've had deer come over and hang around under my stand 10 or 15 minutes after I went and they act perfectly relaxed. Guest bruteshooter
Re: Urine - problem or not? Read and heard that peeing off your stand or out front of a blind will often bring deer in to investigate rather than scare or spook them off? Sound right? arrow32
Re: Urine - problem or not? It wont bother them atleast not with time i have done it. Ive peed then 15 minutes have a deer come right under my stand or near by and them not even notice it. I would have to guess its just what you want to do but I dont think it will bother them at all. LETMGROW
Re: Urine - problem or not? Let it go! Really want to spook deer? Rock from side to side, get up, sit down, turn around, squirm and anything else you can think of to make the gotta go symptons disappear. Get it done, sit down and enjoy the hunt. There are so many types of urine in the woods the deer aren't going to know it was you.

Tominator
Re: Urine - problem or not? I've done both, held it and peed. Seems to me I can only remember spooking one deer using my own urine. In fact, I've been known to "age" my own urine and use it on a drag rag, and I've attracted deer with that plenty of times. I've offered it to my buddy Ohiobucks, but he's never taken me up on the offer for some reason. ----------------->

wtnhunt
Re: Urine - problem or not? Welcome to the forums. Have used apple juice jugs for urinals here, sometimes still do depending on where I am hunting. Human urine in my experience though does not alarm deer. BIG_COUNTRY
Re: Urine - problem or not? JUST DRINK PLENTY OF CORN WHISKEY AND THEN YOUR URINE WILL ACT AS A LIQUID SCENT TO LURE THE DEER IN. OR, YOU COULD GET ONE OF THOSE ASTRONAUT DIAPERS.
