Guest bruteshooter
I just bought a new bow. I figured I'd get a manual and maybe even some little decal, keychain, something. But just a bow, and an expensive one at that. No manual or owners guide. Is this normal for ALL manufacturers or just the one I bought from? I had to go to their site to download the manual and warranty card???!!! I'm holding off the manufacturer name but it's well know name. magnatecsteve
Re: when u buy a bow? I would ask where you got it from if it came with anything. Sometimes they just pull the bow off the rack and forget the other stuff. The manufacturer should at least supply a manual with specs, especially if you decide to replace the string or cables. And as much as a new bow costs, I agree there should be a few extra goodies thrown in too.
DU_man_84
Re: when u buy a bow? when i got my PSE few years back it came with everything, also your gonna want to get them papers on that bow, cause them papers are gonna have a warranty card, and your gonna need that to fill out and send in for your warranty

At the very least he should have the warranty card. Ask them about it and if all else fails, contact the manufacture, tell them about your issue, and ask them to send you the stuff. buldog762000
Re: when u buy a bow? A few years ago I bought a new bow and a guy at work bought the same bow.My came with a hat, keychain, decal and a manual. He got none of it.So I went to his dealer being it is closer to my house and in the display case he had all the stuff I got for free sitting there for sale.To me that is a pretty low thing to do to a guy spending 700 or so on a bow. Guest bruteshooter
Re: when u buy a bow? Mine is a PSE Brute and I ended up getting the manual of their site as a download along with the warranty card as well. The bow was brand new shipped direct from the factory and nothing but some light bubble wrap and the bow. I know - that's all I paid for?!!??!??
