Down payment paid yesterday on an 07 Bowtech Guardian 60# in the Realtree HD Green special option camo!!! I'm so excited, and will be putting my 2003 Ex VFT on eBay tonight. The wait, though, is somewhere around 2 months for the Guardian. Basically I'll have all my accessories ready and the bow paid off before I get it. Shot it a dozen times and knew it was my next "baby"... Hopefully I'll be set up and ready to go before Spring Gobbler! grin.gif

Re: 25%

Lots of folks are still skeptical, but after shooting it I felt great about it. Hefty price tag but selling my old bow will cut my remaining balance in half... or better. I personally like the looks of the bow, but I know many folks do not. Saw the first pics of one in HD green this past week and it looks real sharp.

I want one bad but I am gonna wait til the 2nd year production. They are the best shooting bow I have ever held in my hand.

My opinion of course... but hutchies I agree 100%

And I understand why you'd wait by the way... Time will tell how certain things hold up on it such as the very thin split limbs grin.gif But I know BT has put it through the paces in R&D although maybe not quite as long as some other bows are in R&D. I'm a loyal Bowtech shooter so basically I am just taking the chance right now.

Buckee

Thank you for not bursting my bubble! Mathews makes a great great bow. Its all in what you like, right? They all kill deer the same amount of dead. cool.gif

A lot of guys at the plant I work at are malicious when it comes to their brands... I don't take it to heart though, when they call me a SlowTech shooter. haha

Re: 25%

Honestly I think you need to see and feel the bow in person before you judge it. I feel as though the 2 dimensional photos cannot even come close to depicting the experience of holding it and seeing it in 3D. Like you MCH, I can think of three guys that changed their minds from the website picture when they saw it in person.

I was the same way. I thought Dang what were they thinking when they put it out. Let them call it slowtech all day long...........cause the IBO speed on that bad boy is 321-329 which is smokin.......... grin.gif

That would put my hunting setup shooting around 280 with a 380 grain arrow and 28 inch draw set at 65lbs. Right now I am around 265 or below.

Hey Klunk, congrats again buddy, I can't wait to see you shooting that bad boy in the yard this year, maybe you will be able to keep up with my Old Glory now grin.gif Who knows though, I am thinking that maybe, just maybe, I will have a Guardian out there as well. I'll call you later tonight and "discuss" this with you.
