wtnhunt
Re: food plots in oklahoma Welcome to the forums. Would have to agree that dogdoc will have some great suggestions for you for what to plant in that area. Really will depend on what type of plot you are looking to plant. In perenials, clover/trefoil blends are hard to beat. Hamannfarms offers some good clover/trefoil blends, but my experience has been that they are better planted in the fall. dogdoc
Re: food plots in oklahoma welcome to RT. What have you planted in the past that didn't grow well? My property is in central oklahoma and have had success with several different blends. I also need to know if you are wanting to plant perennials or annuals. It can be tough to plant perennials in the spring due to our hot dry summers--perennials are best suited to be planted in the fall. For my spring plantings I like to plant a combination of peas and beans for high protein. My favorite high protein perennial is a mix made by Hamann Farms. good luck and let me know if you want more specifics or help. todd

SoybeanMan
Re: food plots in oklahoma LetMGrow, I sure do. I was in your part of the state a few years back coming from Niagra Falls and the Thousand Island areas. That was a beautiful area and looked to hold a lot of deer.
