Guest bluejay
I need to get a new sight, since my old "plasticky" one is leaving me (cracked ). I am looking for a metal (alluminum) sturdy 3 pin fixed type sight with maybe tritium . Nothing fancy, just something reliable. Thank you for your suggestions. Gator
Re: Advice for a new sight Extreme RT900, Toxonics K9, and Copper John are all metal and very sturdy.
MCH
Re: Advice for a new sight I'd have to go with the Copper John Dead Nuts Hunter. Solid all around hunting sight.
EKYhunter
Re: Advice for a new sight Spott Hogg! They are built bomb proof. They have different models with different features. The Real Deal and the Hunter Hogg-It are two very good ones. I think the web-site is www.spotthogg.com.

wtnhunt
Re: Advice for a new sight Might also consider the carolina archery three pin sight. Using this one on my bow, and been very happy with it.

AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Advice for a new sight I have the Fuse Buckhorn, I like it but its basically just a Cobra Sidewinder. Built good and very bright!!
Randy
Re: Advice for a new sight I have the RT 900. I would not recomend it.. This sight has fiber optics that loop outside of the pin itself. The Fibers are very fragile as I broke two of mine walking thru some brush. If you are very careful it is a nice sight but, if you do break one and don't realize it, it very well could cost you a deer.
PAstringking
Re: Advice for a new sight i love my RT900 but i have yet to hunt with it...i am pleased with its performance so far but will see what happens when it comes time for hunting season. Guest bruteshooter
Re: Advice for a new sight I'm giving the new Viper Archery a try. http://www.viperarcheryproducts.com I held it and found it very bright and with metal pins. It's fiber is marketed as being able to tie a knot in it or bend at 90 degrees. I saw it done and I think my heavy thick brush in the woods has fianlly met it's match. I also found a grease tube plastic cap fits the end of it for added protection in and out of the woods.
Tony
Re: Advice for a new sight just what i shoot on my hunting bow. a Spot Hogg Bare Bones. 5 pins in either .019 or .029 and it is tough as heck. all metal construction both the housing and pin and super bright fibers and the cost is around 60 bucks.
