AdvantageTimberLou
I thought he was going to make it but the restart with a hand full of laps in the first of the (2) Duel 150's at Daytona and a car not shifting right got the best of him. Once that happened he got shuffled to the back and could not get up to a transfer spot. Sad to see that happen but I tell you what, to see a 72 year old like Hylton do that should bring inspiration to everyone. He will be back and maybe at Bristol this year! Gotta love his determination! Go get'em Mr. Hylton!!! link to story: http://www.nascar.com/2007/news/headlines/cup/02/15/jhylton.duels/index.html
Valkrie1357
Re: 72 years old and almost makes the 500! He be in if we were playing Horse Shoes. He did very well for himself. Nothing to be ashamed for.
LETMGROW
Re: 72 years old and almost makes the 500! I hope he gets another opportunity. He did a good job in my opinion. His car looked good and really was fast. Not what I would call a field filler by any means. The guy has guts to drive that fast and be in total control. As he gets older and more mature he may be better yet!
