Kind of Cool

Back in 2001, the DOW used the narrow guage steam train to release bighorn sheep in hte Animas River gorge. It's the same Durango-Silverton coal fired steam train that was used to haul ore from Silverton. It's been in quite a few cowboy movies & people come from all over to ride it. Anyway, I rode the train that day. It was really cool watching the sheep come out of the boxcar & run thru the snow to their new home. The sheep came from the Georgetown herd----just off I-70.

Anyways the DOW is issuing a ram tag in that area for the 1st time this year. I applied for it. I've got enough points to draw-----just need to be lucky in the drawing. CB
