TreeWalker
I have won my first comp in over 3years.....probably why I haven't posted in here much, since I haven't had much to talk about....my shooting the last three years anyways, LOL....this shoot was a 3D round with a 300 score possible.......there wasn't any very difficult shots, but I don't think I could have done anything wrong this day.....bow seemed like it was shooting itself, I was just along for the ride.. I attribute my latest accomplishment to the switching of bow brands.....I left Mathews and switched to Pearson......to me as an individual, the Pearson (Legacy) just feels better in my hand and settles better.....I can hold it steadier and it is a joy to shoot. Not that I don't have anything to complain about my past Switchback...it was a great bow and had me near the podium several times, but just never felt quite right enough........the Pearson to me is like the perfect combo between a Hoyt and a Mathews...if that is possible........... [/ QUOTE ] And that was just it....I didn't necessarily care about the win.....in fact I was suprised I placed........but it was the feeling of the bow being well tuned combined with the feeling of effortless shots that sticks in my head.....everything clicked that day...
