Guest realtrhunter
I am trying to help my girlfriend get set up for shooting archery. IWe found out that her draw length is 25.25" - 25.5" with a D-loop. And she can pull 40 lbs. We are looking to get her a used bow. Do any of you know a good bow for her to get started with, but isn't going to cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for he help again.
M00N
Re: Looking for a Women\'s bow I'd try looking into some of the Martin bows. A lot of them will come in that draw length and a weight adjustment range between 35-50# if you get the right kind of limbs. They are nice quality bows for a cheaper price than the more popular name brand bows like the Hoyt and Mathews bows. I notice a lot of women seem to like the Martin P3's the most because it's a lightweight and fast bow. If you don't mind spending a little more the Bowtech Equalizer is nice for short stature shooters, too. It's very fast and a very nice bow. Whatever you decide on make sure you take her to a proshop to have her shoot it to make sure she likes it and that it fits her comfortably. Turkeygirl
Re: Looking for a Women\'s bow Parker makes some decent bows also. I tried one before I bought my Hoyt Rintec XL. Definitely alot of choices out there.

Guest TnLadyhunter
Re: Looking for a Women\'s bow The Hoyt Selena is the best women's bow on the market!! It is manufactured just for women! Depening on what she plans on doing with it they come in camo and hot pink!

Guest jennleigh
Re: Looking for a Women\'s bow I just bought my first bow. I got the new Hoyt Trykon Sport. It really fits me well. I shot my cousins Martin bow for a month before taking the plunge with a new bow to see if I would like it. I really look forward to hunting with a bow this fall. I have gun hunted for a long time but this will be my first season with a bow. I am lucky to have a great archery pro-shop near by to help me get ready!
