Strut10
Re: Hevi-shot [ QUOTE ] What is the reason for the Mossberg only loads? [/ QUOTE ] Probably has something to do with bore size & pressure.
Guest HardwoodsgreenHD
Re: Hevi-shot [ QUOTE ] What is the reason for the Mossberg only loads? [/ QUOTE ] Nitros H51013M for mossbergs only has a different wad and is slightly shorter than the H51013 to keep it from hanging up in the gun. The older 835s were notorious for this. I have found that the H51013M actually shoots better in my 870s and 11-87s than the regular H51013s. The cost of the nitros is very high, but remember by the time you purchase your gun and choke, license, land lease, truck, ATV, travel, food, camo and other clothing, decoys and time off work, then shot, say 6-8 nitros over the season, $36.00, thats the cheapest part of the hunt and is almost an investment in what you have in the rest of your equipment!
