PA_Spike_King
Re: Ok AJ this is my other Much smaller AJ. LOL It is a wildcat though. Think back to the 40's and 50's What were the bench guys using then?
PA_Spike_King
Re: Ok AJ this is my other My Grandfather was having eye problems and found that he could shoot lefthanded better than the wrong way. LOL
AJ
Re: Ok AJ this is my other Actually, the benchrest guys were using the .222 Remington since its introduction in 1950. Droping back to the 30's and 40's the .219 Donaldson Wasp was the prominent BR cartridge. It was a wildcat based from the .219 Zipper factory cartridge. Since your first gun was the triple deuce, I will go with the .219 DW.

PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
Re: Ok AJ this is my other Hey I have shot guns exactly like those two. Oh it was those two. Actually Eric and I have several of these bench guns in .219 Donaldson Wasp. Those really long scopes are Unertyl scopes made in Pittsburgh, PA. These rifles, scopes and the caliber was the most popular east of the Mississippi. West of MS the 22-250 was king.
