I was 5!!! I won a trip through Ducks Unlimited!!! I was the only girl there, the youngest one, and the only one that got a BUCK!!! it was a 9 point. it is mounted in my room on the wall!!

I was 15. It was a button-buck. Smallest deer anyone ever shot in the area in a very long time. Weighed in around 35-45lbs. The buttons on its head weren't even formed yet. It was from some piebald genetics in the area so it had skeletal deformities of the face and in specific the jaw and eyes. Might been the smallest deer shot that year in our group, but the meat was like veal and the best meat I've ever ate from a deer. My father was just as proud of me at making a 200+yard heart shot on something that little. It was an easy drag job out of the woods. The warden said I did it a favor by shooting it, since it was wandering around alone it probably wouldn't have made the winter considering how small it was still in November.

I was 12 when I got my first and first buck. Got two birds with one stone with a 6 point buck.

15 for a doe she was about 20 yards away and i got a double lunger with my dads .35 rem. and 16 for a 6point buck. it was a 235 yard up hill shot with my 30-06. he was facing me and i hit him right at the base of the neck and he dropped straight down

When I was 20, my first year of deer hunting, on Thanksgiving day with my granddad's 30-30.

Shot my first deer at the age of 15. I had I little bit of beginners luck. Shot a 130" ten pointer at sun rise thinking it was a doe.

I was 16, it took me 4 years of bow hunting and 5 years of gun hunting to finally cash in. Man it seems like yesterday, but it has been 17 years since I took my first. I've been able to harvest at least 1 to 2 a year since then.

12 years old....missed a y-buck twice in two days...

i was 12. it was openin mornin of deer season and only about 2 hours into the day. made a perfect 350 yard shot with my little .270 on a 13 point mulie buck.

I was 11 when I killed my first deer. It was a doe that I shot with my 20 gauge single shot shotgun.

My first year bow hunting. I am in my late 40's. I was taught by my 16 year old son who started when he was 7 years old on his own. He's got no less than 5 per year since and I got my three this year but they were all does, since those are what I like for meat.

Got a late start here. Started kind of sort of hunting in 92, killed my first deer in 94, then got more serious into hunting. I was 25 in 94 when I killed my first one.

I shot my first deer when I was 15. It was a tiny little button buck that I shot during shotgun season.

I was 12...shot a little doe with my 12 ga., shot my first buck on 12-22-05, a nice little 5-point, but i killed my first wall hanger this year, a 10-point thats gonna go around 120'' on 12-28-06 with the same gun i killed my first deer with!!

my first gun kill was when i was 10 a doe and my first bow deer was when i was 14 a button buck
