wtnhunt
My oldest daughter got a sign up or permission form to participate in a 4H program where the state gives out 5lbs. of food plot seed(guessing it is a clover blend). The kids are supposed to do the prep and plant their seed and maintain and monitor the plot for a year. They give out prizes, not sure really how they pick the winners, but will be a fun project with my oldest daughter this year for sure, just got to figure out where her 1/4 acre plot is going to go . Thought this was pretty cool. Will have to post pics as we go along.

Will be 5 pounds of seed, whatever type of seed it is. Still will be planting some other stuff myself too, but my perennials will be planted in the fall. Most of us are very aware the seed is a fraction of the expense in a successful plot. Will definitely take pics all along the process.
