Guest Colorado Bob
Probably made a mistake but I sold my BT-99 this afternoon. It was an older gun, with the beaver-tail forearm. It's just getting to expensive to shoot registered birds anymore. I'd rather spend my extra money doing hunts instead. Maybe with age-----after my legs give out----I'll get back into shooting clay targets. CB
AJ
Re: BT-99 I hear ya Bob. I have a Rem 3200 Competition with 32" barrels IM/F and a custom made 34" unsingle by Stan Baker as my singles and handicap gun and another 30" 3200 Special Trap as my doubles gun that have not been shot in years. The closest trap range is 70 miles each way, so I don't envision them getting much use for the next few years. I will hold on to them for a while though. You never know. Strut10
Re: BT-99 My father-in-law just bought (stole it really) a hardly-used BT-99. He got a 2006 model with 34" barrel, adj. comb and a Gracoil system installed. The guy he got it from shot 6 rounds of trap and changed hobbies. I've seen guns come out of the box looking worse than this gun. It's flawless!!! He got it for about $600 under cost.
