MCH
Re: If you could... Easy. 1988 World Series Dodgers vs. A's Game One. Dodgers down 4-3 bottom of the ninth. With 2 outs, Lasorda sticks a weak hitter in the on deck circle. Eckersley sees it and ends up walking the guy at the plate to get to him. At the last minute, Lasorda calls out Kirk Gibson's name. Gibson limps out to the plate. On an 0-2 count, Gibson hits a weak fly ball to right field.......................walk off home run. Dodgers won the series 4 to 1, I believe and the A's were big favorites. Biggest homerun in Dodger history. Watched it live, but would've loved to have been there. Ironranger
Re: If you could go back... I'd say "Miracle on Ice" as I grew up a block from Buzzy Schneider who scored one goal against the Russians and played great the whole Olympics for them. It was an inspiring time for all of us in Babbitt...
Guest pintail711
Re: If you could go back... 2001 Nebraska vs. Oklahoma Eric Crouch catches that pass from Mike Stuntz on some kind of reverse and goes on to win the heisman later that year. Priceless
