If you could go back...

Re: If you could...

Easy. 1988 World Series Dodgers vs. A's Game One.

Dodgers down 4-3 bottom of the ninth. With 2 outs, Lasorda sticks a weak hitter in the on deck circle. Eckersley sees it and ends up walking the guy at the plate to get to him. At the last minute, Lasorda calls out Kirk Gibson's name. Gibson limps out to the plate. On an 0-2 count, Gibson hits a weak fly ball to right field.......................walk off home run.grin.gif

Dodgers won the series 4 to 1, I believe and the A's were big favorites. Biggest homerun in Dodger history.

Watched it live, but would've loved to have been there.

Re: If you could go back...

some good answers so far...kind of surprised that all of the answers are somewhat recent events...figured there would be a few people that would go WAAAY back in time to see some stuff they weren't around for...for me i would say the 1968 world series or any old school tigers game for that matter...i get the chills everytime i walk by the sculputres of Ty Cobb, Charlie Gehringer, Hank Greenberg, Willie Horton, Al Kaline and Hal Newhouser that are in comerica park. would love to have seen any of these guys in action just once

Some of the family reunions softball games we had when I was a kid. All the fams dont get together like they use to.

Pros I would like to have seen Don Mattingly play.

2001 Nebraska vs. Oklahoma

Eric Crouch catches that pass from Mike Stuntz on some kind of reverse and goes on to win the heisman later that year. Priceless
