toddpipkin
I have a Kodak DX 4530, which I really like. I recently bought a set of Kodak auxiliary lenses for it, but so far have not been able to find the adapter to fit the lenses to the camera body. It is Kodak item # 8776585. 35.2mm at the camera end, 37mm at the lens end. Kodak no longer makes it, and I cannot find one anywhere on the net. Does any other manufacturer make a 35.2 X 37mm adapter? Does anyone have an old one laying around unused?

LifeNRA
Re: NEED TO FIND -- camera lens adapter You have the power of the internet at your finger tips! All you need to do is go to Kodak's web site and start a search! First go to the camera you have and look for accessories. But yeah I found it! toddpipkin
Re: NEED TO FIND -- camera lens adapter Dang, you guys must think I'm a TOTAL goober!!!! Of course, I went to Kodak FIRST!!! Though the part is listed on the web site, it is NOT in stock. When I asked them, I was told that the camera is considered obsolete (after only 2 1/2 years !!!) and there are no plans to make another production run of parts or accessories for it. So of course my next step was a Google search. Several of them as a matter of fact, using different criteria each time. I checked EVERY photo supply house that came up. BH Photo, Adorama, Abt, ALL of them. None have the part in stock. THAT is why I am trying to find a used one this way!!!

toddpipkin
Re: NEED TO FIND -- camera lens adapter I didn't mean to come off gruff either. Sorry I keep forgetting that (joking) tone of voice is not part of "the internet experience" !!! Not p.o.'ed at all. Anyway, still looking for suggestions, and/or a used adapter. As long as it's 35.2mm at the camera end, I'll take one with any common lens size at the other end. 55mm would be really good, as that's the lens size that Kodak uses for some of their newer cameras. M00N
Re: NEED TO FIND -- camera lens adapter That's going to be a tough adapter to find. I did see an ebay auction that had a wide and telephoto lens set with a tube adapter for a DX4530 camera for like $55 + $10 shipping that you could always do as a last resort to just get the adapter out of the set then sell the lens if you don't like them, but keep the adapter. From what I could tell on the auction it looked like the adapter was for use with 37mm lens. Kind of expensive way to go to get the adapter, though and I don't know anything about the seller, so you'd probably want to look into the auction more closely make sure it is the right adapter and a good seller. toddpipkin
Re: NEED TO FIND -- camera lens adapter No luck there, billkay. Thank you, MOON!!!!!! You must have caught that one just as the auction started. I'm on it like ugly on a monkey!
