shot some trap today.

my little brother just got a new shotgun and the trap club was holding a meat shoot today so we went. we both shot a practice round with is 25 shots. he did awesome. he turns 12 tuesday and he shot 22/25 with his new benelli SBEII. i was amazed seeing how i only beat him by one and im 7 years older. i cant wait to take him huntin this comming season. we both shot 2 meat shoots too. he didnt to do well in those but i won one of mine out straight. i hit 5/5 and everyone else hit 4 or less. then we did a buddy shoot with him where you shoot from 28 yards. you each shoot one shot from each station and if your partner calls the bird and misses then you are supposed to try and back them up. well i backed him up a few times and i was amazed when he backed me up once. it takes alot of control cuz if your partner breaks the bird and you shoot too its counted as a loss. we ended up only missing one. but the winning team didnt miss. it was alot of fun and i brought home a big pack of ribeyes that i won.

I want to get out and smoke some clays soooooo bad. But I refuse to stand in the snow to do it.

it was pretty warm yesterday. about 40 but then a light wind came up and it got pretty chilly.

Sounds like you are having a ball. The fun shoots like Annie Oakley (backup) walk in grouse, and other cool clay games are a hoot.
